Those cheeky people at Clogger have been at it again. This time they have been watching the blog output of PR company Rainier and have made some pungent observations. Worth reading if you're a PR thinking of using a blog to demonstrate your new media skills.
For reasons best known to itself, Rainier PR is masking its URLs. This is where the white paper hangs out:

Rainer have FU'd on this big time. Instead of considering the comments, they've lashed out. Bad idea. Sadly, their reputation has plummeted IMHO because
1. They didn't think (no comments about PRs and thinking, we've all been there!)
2. Clogger is right and they've chosen to stick 2 fingers up
3. The writing is appalling at every level
4. Stephen Waddington refers to some 'standard text' I'm buggered if I can find (and I'm not 'stupid' to use one of Rainier's favourite words)
5. They're stupid

With any luck Clogger will never discover Presto Vivace Blog.

DT - thanks for the link.
I was concerned that my post was overly aggressive towards the blog author at Rainier. That wasn't my goal - I'm just trying to underline that untrained writers really don't do humour well.
And in this case, the attempt does more harm than good to a fragile corporate image...
