Great post Mr T, carrots always work better than sticks. Alas they should have been offering carrots a long time ago and now seem to be favouring sticks. What to do?

Let's not just leave it to 'them' maybe. Financial, reputational and regulatory benefits can be squeezed from doing the right things. Not to mention the psychological benefits. Here's a bit from the EcoAlign report: "higher identity/status, greater connection to a community, spiritual fulfillment, family well being, legacy." These things are important too.

Most insightful.

When I first saw this ad, I penned on my blog.. 'This may not end well. No matter how well intentioned.'

I fear I was right.

Being more positive I rejoice in the proactive 'doing' of so many others, but stuff like this from clowns like these just makes my efforts and those of others all the harder to 'sell' sensible enviro actions to even my bemused mates.

Tell 'em you're not one of the zealots, just a pragmatist. They'll probably listen then.
