Radio silence hereabouts has been largely due to a massive time investment in consulting with BrainStorm customers, creating a plan and renewing the website. BrainStorm is my (not very) secret hobby.
It is also due to taking stock of where I am with social media (blogs, wikis, rss, podcasting - you know the stuff). That has gobbled up the best part of the past nine months. Lots of thoughts, lots of opinions, none of which I'm inclined to share until they are properly considered.
Suffice it to say that this quote, from Charlene Li's blog, resonated very well with me:
"Like other Internet-enabled things, podcast listening will follow a natural progression: enthusiastic experimentation, disenchanted abandonment, and value-driven adoption."
Charlene is away at the moment and her colleague Jim Nail posted that. Thanks for that Jim, I think I'm just moving from the second to the third stage in the whole social software space.

I know the feeling only too well David - coming to terms with what this all means for old lags like thee and me is not the easiest thing in the world.
